Scodix, a provider of digital enhancement products for the graphic arts industry, has announced the appointment of Lance Shumaker as Vice President of Scodix North America. Shumaker will be responsible for sales, customer support, marketing and operations in both the American and Canadian markets, effective immediately. The announcement was made today by Dror Danai, executive vice president, Global Sales and Business Development for Scodix Ltd.

“Scodix continues to grow and capture the North American market, one major service provider at a time, and is increasing both the mindshare and market share,” says Danai. “This is clearly in evidence by the tremendous impact our systems are having on our customers and their business. Adding a strong experienced individual with a successful track record, such as Lance Shumaker’s, to our growing professional team not only demonstrates our dedication to the marketplace’s needs, but will further increase our access and penetration in the North American marketplace.”

Shumaker has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 25 years managing high-tech and new technology companies in the graphic arts and commercial printing markets. Prior to joining Scodix, he held executive management positions with Scitex and Indigo, and more recently Advanced Vision Technology (AVT). Lance’s dedicated focus and experience will have a significant impact on both the market penetration and sales of Scodix Digital Enhancement Presses.
